Xense Robotics

Xense Robotics is a Shanghai-based embodied tactile sensing company founded in May 2024 by Ma Daolin, a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. It has built a full-stack technology portfolio spanning visuotactile sensors, XTac data collection, Xense Sim tactile simulation, the TacVerse dataset, and the X-TouchMind V1 tactile embodied model. Its tri-color-light visuotactile sensors have reached mass production at the ten-thousand-unit level and serve more than 300 paying customers. On September 19, 2026, Xense Robotics announced the consecutive completion of two strategic funding rounds totaling several hundred million yuan.
