Naive AI (Beijing Zhiyan Huisheng Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded in February 2026 by Dai Jifeng, an associate professor at Tsinghua University, and is operating in stealth as an upcoming large language model company. In less than a year since its founding, Naive AI has completed three funding rounds totaling $400 million ($100 million, $180 million, and $120 million), reaching a post-money valuation of over $1.42 billion. Its investors include Tencent, Sequoia China, IDG Capital, and Matrix Partners China.
